Words reaching The Jarmzone say Olamide's album titled 'RapSoDi' will hit record stores this March 21. The rapper who some have likened to the late Dagrin made an impressive entry with his first single "Eni Duro" in 2010. His acceptance by teeming fans has attracted a number of artistes, some of whom have featured him, while others are on the queue.
Apart from the hit opus "Eni Duro", we gathered that Olamide's 'RapSoDi' would house other songs like "Apa Ti Jabo", "Legendary" Ft 9ice, "Lift Him High" Ft. Cabasa, and "Kelegbo" Ft. Ajasa. Also confirmed on the album is one of the toasts of the moment – Whizkid as well as 2Phat, Adol, B'ranks and 2010 MTN Project Fame winner, Chidinma.
Full name Olamide Adedeji hails from Ogun State, Nigeria but was born and brought up in Bariga, Lagos. According to him, "my mentor is Jay Z but I'm also a big fan of Lil' Wayne, Birdman and Ludacris". He discovered his music talent in the year 2000 and has held on to it till date. He is signed to ID Cabasa's Coded Tunes and managed by TP-Concepts.
In other news, Adol who shares management ties with Olamide will be releasing his first album on Saturday, March 14. In a chat with their manager, Toni Payne, she said, "there is high demand for both albums (marketed by Uba Pacific) here in Nigeria and abroad, so I'm expecting these to be one of the highest selling debut albums".
